I have never done a "blog" before so I thought I would give it a try.

Just a quick note to say Hi to everyone here at DMY! We are new to the site and so far its been

fun. I am having a little trouble navagating around but I am learning.

We have made a few friends so far and have gotten some very very nice comments and messages.

Once I get a few extra minutes I will be sending out some Thank Yous and comments also.

Boy, Thought I found a good site for posting amatuer pics of my women on. It was good about 2 years agon. WHAT the F happened to this place. Half the pictures you want posted never get on the site and the other half have blocked out faces or when you click on you get redirected to some other place. I don't know who or whom is running this site now and where they got all these NO face showin women but the quality has gone down hill so much that I won't waste another minute here. There are plenty of other free sites on the net that will post WITH faces and EMAILs. WHo needs this piece of crap web site anymore. What a waste of time this has become. I admit I like to see womans faces, NOT everyone can have their heads cut off or Blackened or BLurred. SO, I am blaming the MGMT of this site for accepting such poor quality photos and then when you submit a photo with a FACE it won't get published. I'm Outta here. Ass Holes... PS remove my pictures. That would be something you could do that would be good for a change.

The Demise of Alt.Binaries.Pictures.Personal

For those of you who didn't know, the forerunner of every webpage-based amateur nudity site was the newsgroups.  Over 80,000 different newsgroups last time I bothered to check.  A newsgroup is basically a discussion group with pictures submitted.  The most social and upstanding of the newsgroups was alt.binaries.pictures.personal (abpp).  It was a "moderated" newsgroup with special members who helped keep the spam and the trolls out.  Everyone else was welcome.  And now it is fading into the sunset; the last remaining regulars going their separate ways.  The newsgroups still function as the best, easiest and fastest way to download music and movies. 

For me, that newsgroup started about 12 years ago, when I stumbled across it.  At the time, my wife and I posted hundreds of nude pics of her over a period of a few years.  At its height, a decent little 12 picture series posted to ABPP would bring a flood of 50-150 separate responses and keeping up with the emails could be quite time consuming.  But worthwhile!

We "retired" from taking or posting any nude pictures about seven years ago, but I still casually monitored ABPP.  With the rise of web pages such as DoMyWife and others, the amateur newsgroups are rapidly dying off and will not be replaced.  It's sad really, because many of the posters on this website deserve absolute avalanches of emails praising their efforts.  It's just too easy to see page after page of beautiful, sexy women here and never even drop them a note to tell them how desirable they are.  And it is strange to see a great pic here with four basic one-sentence responses after a solid week of being posted to the website.  For my part, I try to praise a good pic when I see one. 

For you dinosaurs out there, we used to post under the name, "Hot Mom Merri". 

Anyway, that was a brief history lesson of the internet--I hope this website will be around for years to come and become more and more active and rewarding to the most valuable participants--the ones who post their own amateur pictures.
