This happened in the 70s in North Carolina. Interracial was considered very taboo where we lived back then. She had a miscarriage at 3 months.

I repaired the tire and we got the car home. She told me about him and said she thought she might be interested in him. I called him and told him I would like to meet him and thank him personally. He agreed, so I invited him to our home for the next Saturday night. We had other plans for him.
