There was a time when we would have eagerly joined in and posted some pics but nobody around here (with few exceptions) comments on photos. You'll get 1,000 views and people adding them to their personal collections but almost no comments. We use to have pages of our photos up but have deleted almost all of them due to lack of feedback. Each month we deleted the photo with the smallest comments to views ratio. We're now down to 3 and one of them will be going away on 6/30. This site is circling the drain

They all seem to have no problem making money. The difference is the people who own those sites don't treat them like hobbies, they are a business. Active admins and moderators are necessary. On here, submitted photos and forum posts are often "awaiting approval" and are never seen again. No explanation of why.
