There was a time when we would have eagerly joined in and posted some pics but nobody around here (with few exceptions) comments on photos.

We use to enjoy this site too but it's like having a favorite restaurant that starts serving subpar food.

The best thing that could happen to this site is another company buying the domain name and making it what it use to be.
We belong to two other sites with forums and photos, one that's just photos and two that are just stories.
They all have a "premium" membership and free memberships. They all seem to have no problem making money.
The difference is the people who own those sites don't treat them like hobbies, they are a business.
Active admins and moderators are necessary.
On here, submitted photos and forum posts are often "awaiting approval" and are never seen again. No explanation of why.
