Being a woman and very open and sexually liberated I can tell you I would be really pissed if some guy just came up and told me he had seen mu pictures like that. I expect men to be discreet. if he talks to the husband his friend and it goes from there then ok fine and it is possible he wanted you to see them but don't approach his wife directly it is likely to be the end of a good friendship and no chance of more pictures.

Be discreet it gets better results.

I agree with JJ be discreet, maybe mention to your buddy you saw them by mistake and he should protect the files, if he ask you about them go from there.
