New Profile Features?

At first I welcomed the following change after all the discussion by members regarding picture and video theft. But alas.....

A new DMW pop-up banner says:

Privacy got more private and personal!

Now and forever ALL members have full and direct control over their content:

add, delete, move or edit it any time you like. Track status of content. Moreover new options were added to enhance privacy, prevent undesirable downloading/viewing content and/or profile, prevent undesirable contacts/comments. Visit "Edit my profile" and start using new features.


So I edited my profile and saved the changes, receiving the following:


"Sorry, but you can't edit who can download your files and who cannot.

To access these options you should have VIP/VIPx status, here is more detailed information about upgrading."

What the hell? What happened to "Now and forever ALL members have FULL AND DIRECT CONTROL over their content" ????????
