Key Party
 

Over the weekend we went to the neighborhood holiday party and we bounced to several houses and had drinks food at each. About 8 couples in all. By the 4th house everyone was pretty lit and lively. In the front hallway was a basket with keys in it and some said "what is this some kind of Key Party?". It sadly wasn't, but the topic was some good chatter for a few minutes and it even came out that there is another nearby neighborhood that does have them. Everyone in our group is somewhat reserved so it stopped there, however NO ONE said anything about being disgusted or condemning the other neighborhood for having them. Am I crazy or could our neighborhood get a little more exciting. So I'm reaching out to all of my friends here to get an opinion.

Has anybody else here had a Key Party?
Any suggestions on bringing it up again?
How did it all work out if you did or do have parties?
