Speaking clock
Paddy moves into a new flat, after about 2 weeks his mate Murphy at work asks him "how's the new flat?". Paddy says "its great, infact we'll get some cans and have a house warming tonight after work". Later, after a guided tour and a few cans, Murphy asks "what's the big round shiny gong in the corner for?" Paddy says, "its not a gong its a speaking clock". Murphy says "A speaking clock? its a gong!" With this Paddy gets up and walks over to the gong grabbing a big wooden mallet out of his tool bag and hits it as hard as he can. Suddenly there's a banging on the wall, its the man next door shouting "What you doing banging that f**king gong... its quarter to 3 in the morning!!!"
