We are on a couple of different sites with a similar theme to DMW and if you read the forums on any of them, you'd think adult bookstores with glory holes are as common as starbucks.
Most of the ABS's out there are corporate owned chains and they're not going to risk their business license by putting video booths with glory holes in them.
Of the ABS's that are independently owned, by time a glory hole establishment becomes common knowledge to the general public, it's already come to the attention of the local vice squad.
They are like the bath houses of yore. At one time the powers that be looked the other way, figuring that at least they weren't out on the streets doing it. Then AIDS came along and they started shutting them down.
Places close, relocate and operate for a short while, then get shut down again.
I'm pretty sure the only ones still going to glory holes are gay men who know what they're in for, straight men who convince themselves they're still straight if there's a glimmer of hope it's a woman on the other side of the wall and bi-curious men who want to experiment but remain annonymous (dispite the fact that security cameras watched them go in and out)
The same goes for highway rest areas. If you read the forums, you'd think by pulling into one, you're going to encounter a Greek orgy.
