it takes time
When Hubby & I started dating he was not long out of a relationship with a girl who ran off every time he took his eyes off of her. He knew she was taking his ride & his money while he was at work & going out screwing around, but she tried to act innocent. He used her for sex & nothing else & didnt really care.
When we moved in together he had trust issues because of it & it was kinda hard for a while. But over time our bond has grown, we trust each other completely, and we want noone but each other to love.
This is why I dont mind if he has sex with a girl, and he isnt uncomfortable about me getting a little gangbang every now & then (as long as we're together when it happens).
