The wife has said she’s thinking of having her long hair cut short. I was wondering what people’s preferences on here were for women with long or short hair and if short what sort of short styles do it for you on women ?

I think it would depend on the physique and facial shape of the woman. Women who are slender with narrow faces seem to be able to pull off a shorter hair style better, whereas women that are more filled out with rounder faces may or may not be able to carry a shorter hair style. No hard preference (pun intended) either way.

My favorite is long and red.
Nina has shoulder length and blond.
I didn't marry her for her hair though.

Deedee has shorter hair than most, longest it has been is a bit past her shoulders, she looks great with short or long hair

This, exactly.
For short hair, a pixie cut is always cute, or even a bob can work. I have seen many women who were HOT looking with these cuts.
As for long hair, doesn't matter if it's straight, wavy, or curly. Long hair is always beautiful on a woman!

Yeah, It’s quite a short bob cut that the wife is considering.
