Promoting DMW

As I write this, the counter in the upper RH corner says there were only 627 online users in the last 24 hours.
Without being snarky to the Admins or Mods, what can we (as users) do to promote and grow DMW.
What would you like to see?
What would you like to see more of?
What would you like to see less of?
That sort of thing.
Try to keep it constructive instead of just bitching.

I sent an email to DMW a while ago offering to volunteer my services to make the site better and never got a reply.
I've been a member here over 12 years and it's been interesting but certainly more members would be better. If you do a member search you find a large majority that joined around 10 years ago and a majority of those are no longer active on the site.
Of those who are currently active, I see two distinct groups: the "old timers" who have been swinging and swapping for years (and a gangbang with 10 studs is a slow weekend) , and the "newbies": couples, often young, and often initiated by the hubby, who are very curious about this lifestyle. I try to chat with those, encouraging them, about how this lifestyle can be the BEST thing that happened to their marriage. I like to think this is a far superior alternative to "cheating" on your spouse, (which is statistically far more prevalent, and often triggers divorce).
If you look at the home page, it's mostly the same old profiles and pics that have been here for years. Young people don't really want to look at profiles of people that look like their grandparents. Also, people don't want to look at profiles with NO photos and no content. Makes you wonder if they're legit (or scammers) or just lazy?
So I would say, more advertising, and adopting some of the strategies of the larger adult websites might be helpful.
If the site were to improve measurably, I would consider sending some $$ but right now, it needs a real facelift. Thoughts?

It's hard for a site to make money if they're not selling ad space or selling your personal info.
It's even harder to get members to pay when there are so many free sites available.
Pay sites are coming under more and more pressure from bank regulators (and every country has its own set of banking regulations to deal with). No credit card issuing bank wants to be affiliated with a site containing underage, incest and rape stories or images. (I'm pretty sure DMW is ok in that regard)

I'd like to see more members contribute content, or leaving commenting on other members content.

There is one other category: Old timers who no longer swap and swing. Age can be unkind to women, especially when it comes to sex. So, some of us have to be satisfied with looking at the photos and videos and living vicariously through the stories on the forum. And masturbation of course! I wish I could post some photos or videos but I had to get rid of those a long time ago, and taking new ones ain’t on the program.

@apollo18 Can you write stories? No one is looking for Shakespeare.
Can you comment on other people's photos or forum threads?
There are lots of ways to contribute that don't include photos.

It's a little difficult to promote the site.
Other, similar sites don't appreciate (or tolerate) it, and most people are going to to on "mainstream" social media sites and invite their friends and family to come play on a site called "Do My Wife", but there are ways to promote it.

I printed a sheet of 30 labels with "See my wife naked on domywife.com", stuck them on blank business cards and keep a couple in my wallet. I've left them in public bathroom stalls, gas station pumps, etc.
(don't just put the stickers on someone else's property. Thank could be construed as defacing or vandalism)

this is a quote posted today on newer member "SApair" profile, even after I sent them a PM.

this is very sad, people (especially younger people) want that immediate validation of having their photos posted and cummented on. It shouldn't take more than 24 hours but seems like it takes many days lately. Hope DMW management is reading this.

Good point kjs, I will stop complaining and start posting more.

And yes, when I was younger I wasn’t interested in someone’s grandparents either! I understand that. But time passes and we get older. One of the few advantages of being older is that I’m attracted to a broader range of ages, so I can get just as excited about that 65 year old as the 25. It happens brother.

And don’t forget that us older folks may be more willing to financially support DMW despite its flaws.

Some of us not so young people too.
Even blurring facial features, it takes guts for a woman to be comfortable with pictures of her naked, fucking & sucking, threesomes (and moresomes).
Comments or positive feedback can reassure her that it's ok and doesn't make her a bad person.
When she sees a photo of her at her most vulnerable with 100 views and no comments, she might start to wonder if she wants to continue.

I admit I've stopped posting so much, due to a lack of response. The sight has gotten rather slow, but I've still tried to support it.
