Have you ever been found out?

My ex-wife and I played in the lifestyle for about a year and a half. During that time, we ended up as more of a Hotwire / cuckold relationship.

She would have a boyfriend / lover and they would try to be as low key as possible.


However, I got a text one evening while they were out on a date. The plan was for them to go out and her spend the weekend with him. However, I got a text from her saying that our friends, Mark and Becca said hi. It was followed by a selfie of the four of them.

Apparently my wife and her boyfriend went to a restaurant / bar and accidentely ran into Mark and Becca. She told me she had to explain to them our arrangement and thought that they understood and would keep it quiet.

However on Saturday when I went to play golf with a foursome of my friends, by the third or fourth hole; I figured out that they all had talked to Mark and they all knew.

Things went downhill from there the rest of the weekend with jokes and innuendos about how I couldn't keep up with my wife and things like that.

I know that they were teasing me, but by the time my ex wife got back all of our friends knew and I was totally humiliated. One of the four actually worked with me so by the middle of the next week, all the guys that I worked with at the plant knew my wife had a boyfriend. My wife at the time tried to play it off as it was no big deal. But unfortunately by a month or so I couldn't take the jokes, humiliation and laughs. It ended with us in therapy for a while.


Has anyone else ever been found out and how did you handle it?

It would have been just as simple for your wife to explain to Mark and Becca that her boyfriend was just friend from school or something and they were just out to dinner together.

I agree that she should have said something to that effect. My guess is looking back at our relationship and how it ended, I'm thinking she did it sort of intentionally as a slight to me. We had a great three years, but the last year ended up being not so nice with both of us saying and doing things to provoke each other.

I'm not happy with everything I did during that time and I've grown up since then. Thankfully I found an amazing spouse who loved me and we have great communication and enjoy each other and everything we do together.

What happened MattyWhatty? Were you able to brush it off as a joke or something?

Did a lot of people end up knowing?

Only once. I was at a swingers party and a man I worked with was there with his wife. I was with a very black gentlemen and since my coworker had met my husband at a company party he knew my date was no him. However, it caused me no problems because he couldn't tell anyone without outing himself.

I'll have to see if I ever posted the story of when Nina encountered a co-worker she didn't get along with, at a sex party some mutual friends were hosting.

I should add that my coworker never approached me at the party. He did however see me totally nude and having sex with two men. I never figured out if he was embarrassed I'd seen him, or he didn't want his wife to know I was his coworker. I did wonder when he saw me at work after that, what he was thinking of?
