Defeating the purpose Of Marriage.

Don't you think Married couples getting together with other married couples is defeating the Marriage?...I mean we all know Marriage is created by god & yet the man upstairs does not like us going outside the marriage to get sex. most that do not share their spouses would say "If you wanted other peoples spouse then why get married?"...what would you say to that?

I am going to try to be nice. I'm not one to come off as a bitch right off...so i'm going to try not to.

First off...rule of thumb...do research before you ask a full-fledged question like the one you are wanting answers to...You are bringing religion into it...make sure you know religion beforehand. ALL walks of life. ALL religions, faiths, beliefs. there are religions that date back BEFORE Christianity. There are faiths, and beliefs out there that aren't shared by you, and with all do respect I think it is a closed-minded assumption to think so.

Bringing me to my next point. Open-mindedness is KEY to understanding why we are the way we are. If you can't bring yourself to understand, OR atleast have an open enough mind to begin to embrace the lifestyle....then why are YOU on a wife sharing...sex network in the first place??

My Third point is this : We get married for the same reason YOU did. We love our significant other with all of our being. We cherish them, we comfort them, we are there for them when they need someone, and above all we are their friend when they are in need. JUST because we enjoy having sex with someone else...DOES NOT mean we love our significant other ANY less...it DOES NOT mean that we don't respect them. IT IS NOT a one sided decision to be in the swinger lifestyle in the first place. It is a combined decision between BOTH wife and husband. The lifestyle DOES not work if one or the other isn't comfortable with it.

My last and final point : Maybe you should try it. If there is ONE thing I have learned is that if you can't bring yourself to understand something, then try it out. It might even do YOU some good.

Well, you put to the point and siad it. Being open minding is one part and the immense trust between your partner and you is another part of it. There is no super powerful magic imaginary friend out there. My wife and I don't subscribe to the theory that there is some deity out there making up rules. We make our own rules. We married because we love each other but love does not preclude having sexual fun with others.
