we don't have "pool parties" so to speak, but we do go to, and have, parties where pools are involved. except for the occasional nipple slip of other wardrobe malfunction, only one turned into a really hot time. its in our blog if you care to hear about it.

We've been to pool parties where things went beyond grilling and games of bean bag toss.
It usually goes easier if one of the women (usually the one hosting the party) takes her top off first. Sometimes a game of "chicken fight" in the pool will result in one of the women having her top "accidentally" pulled off. Then she just continues on as if nothing happened. If the men don't over react at seeing bare breasts, it doesn't take much (maybe a little liquid courage) to get a few more to lose their tops. The same thing works in hot tubs. One woman ask if anyone has a problem with her taking off her top. The rest soon follow. The secret to getting things rolling is to act like it's no big deal. |

I agree that a little nudity, always helps to get things going. My husband told me early on that if I acted like there was nothing unusual about being nude, the people around me would find it more acceptable. I've found that to be very true. I'm very comfortable exposing my body and actually feel it to be freeing. I also usually wear bikinis to parties like that, that leave nothing to the imagination anyway. Also when out on boats with a group of people, once we leave the harbor, my top comes off.

Yup. Helps if one of the women get things rolling. Many years ago we were at a friends 4th of July cookout/pool party. The wife was standing next to the edge when her husband walked by and hip checked her into the pool. When she surfaced, her bikini top had shifted and one of her boobs was out. She didn't notice until she climbed out of the pool and saw everyone looking at her. After looking down at her chest and realizing everyone there had seen her, she just took her top the rest of the way off and said there was no need for modesty anymore now that everyone had seen "them". I think the men not making vulgar comments or trying to touch them, helped some of the other women relax and within a half hour about half of them had also removed their tops. Granted, there were a few couples who left but the ones who stayed but didn't take off their tops weren't pressured into doing so and when it was time to wrap up the party, the tops went back on and no one talked about it after. |
