Fourth of July minus the fireworks
When my friend B said she was coming to town, I posted via Facebook to say we have to get together as we havent seen each other in at least 4 years.
Her mom sent me a message saying she was having a fireworks viewing party and we were welcome to join them for it.
When the invite came in I looked at the other invitees and thought it looked promising.
Fast forward to the fourth, I talked to Angel about flirting and she loved the idea so she dressed in a provocative slogan T shirt (pic of her wearing the shirt are in our photo album).
Before leaving we had a couple of shots of Tequilla and headed out.
Angel got many looks from the guys on the train ride to the party.
As the other guests started arriving I spent a bit of time off talking with my friend and her mom, leaving the spot on the couch open next to Angel.
One guy who looked real promising was Edmond, a 30ish gentleman. She found him attractive and pleasant to talk to and I saw her blush as he held her hands while asking her about her many rings. When the fireworks started everyone tried to fit on the balcony. I stayed inside with a couple of others who weren't intersted in going outside and from where I was sitting I noticed that Angel was standing next to Edmond. It was then I realized that nothing was going to happen as another guest, Jeff, called to Edmond and said turn toward me hunny, I want a picture of you with the fireworks in the background.
After the party ended I asked my friend and her mom if there were any other straight people at the party. They said the 2 of them, and 2 other married couples.
The rest of the guests were a female couple, 2 male couples and 3 solo gay men.
That night Angel said she still enjoyed flirting and that if one particular guy there was straight she would have loved to get to know him.
