Nobody is at the wheel. The weeds are knee high. Nobody seems to care. I’m not sure that new management/ownership could even save it.

Unless someone just wanted to buy the name, I don't see anything worth buying.
735 users online in the last 24 hours, 36 users and 204 guests currently logged on (as I write this)
They claim to have 940K+ users but I'm sure most of those accounts have been abandoned/inactive for years.
Even the members who paid for upgraded status are being ignored.
It's not a "secure" site. After all these years, I don't know why.
We are on a couple different similar sites, a couple stories sites and a site that's simply a photo sharing one and they ALL seem to make money without charging for membership (they all offer bonus features for those who do though)
There's no reason this site isn't successful other than piss poor management.
For the last couple of years, we've been deleting one photo per month (usually the one with the lowest comments to views ratio) and when the last one is gone, so are we (should be this August)
I'm guessing Burllleee and Sancho will be the last ones here and I hope one of them remembers to turn the lights out when they leave.

Yeah, I've been on this site for quite awhile and I've seen it go up and down. I really think it would do lots better if they would drop the charges and just make it all free.
I love reading and seeing your posts and wish others would join in.
Hopefully we won't have to turn out the lights too soon...lol
